RowingSolutions (originally know as Simon Johnson International) is a British company founded by Simon Johnson to supply top quality products and services to the rowing world. In 1992, we developed a range of catamarans designed specifically for coaching, umpiring and rescue. The hulls of these coaching launches were originally built out of Kevlar sheet material but from 1994 onwards, we have been building our catamarans with roto-moulded hulls. This type of material offers superior quality, durability and reliability, which are essential in the rowing industry. All our components are British made, which is why we are the only launch manufacturer to offer a ten-year warranty on the hulls. The catamarans we sold back in 1994 and since then are still in active use at rowing clubs today – testament to their quality and longevity.
